I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
