The EU might “act quickly and firmly” in response to what it calls “unwarranted” travel bans issued by the United States against five Europeans working on fighting online hate and misinformation, a European Commission spokesperson stated.
European Leaders Condemn US Action as ‘Coercion’
European leaders including Emmanuel Macron accused Washington of “bullying and threats”, after the visa restrictions targeted individuals who have been at the heart of campaigns to introduce legislation governing American tech companies.
